Fun Color Mixing Activity

I first read the story of Mouse Paint to my girls and then divided a paper plate into sixths for our activity. I added the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) first and then combined them in the adjacent boxes. This was such a fun way for them to discover how to make the secondary colors (orange, green, and purple).
